Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav tried to rebuild the innings, but they were both dismissed by Shaheen Afridi. Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya provided some late fireworks, but it was not enough to prevent India from posting a below-par total.

Pakistan got off to a slow start, but Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan put on a 100-run partnership to take the game away from India. However, the wickets of Azam and Rizwan triggered a collapse, and Pakistan were bowled out for 189.

Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers for India, taking four wickets for 31 runs. He was well supported by Hardik Pandya, who took three wickets for 24 runs.

India won the match by 38 runs and secured a place in the final of the Asia Cup. They will face the winner of the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
